You are Free in Christ
In man's Court of Law, a man is judged by his peers. The definition of peer is someone who is like yourself or on the same level as you. However, in man's Court of Law the word peer is used to mean someone who lives in your area. A true peer does not live in your area but has lived in "your shoes." In God's Court of law, we are judged by our Peer, Jesus. He has lived as a man and He has been tempted as a man. There is no temptation we are going through that Jesus has not gone through and He sin not. When we are in God's Court of Law, Jesus is our advocate. He will plead us innocent because of what He did for us on the cross. His blood cries out for our mercy and His Grace. We are judged "not guilty" because Jesus paid the price for us. We are free to go and sin no more. Today, let us know that we are free of guilt in God's eyes. If there is something that has separated us from God, let us repent and go on to live our lives free from sinand guilt. We are not victims, we are victors!!
