Bragging...

I want to take some time and give all honor and glory to God:
The God of grace and mercy,
The God of love,
The God who hears all and sees all,
The God that's in control,
The God I call daddy
The God that no matter what accepts me as I am, forgives me and answers my prayers!
I'm going to tell a little story today:
For about 7 years now, I have been homeschooling our children now. We have 7 of the most wonderful, ambitious and outstanding children that we could ever ask for. 6 of the 7, I've homeschooled. Our children's ages now are from 21-3 years of age and we have 2 in college now. I can remember when I was working for Bank One in 2000-2002 and I was working the 3rd shift and never really talked with my children let alone even saw them. In 2002, I was in 3 accidents that messed me up for awhile and I struggled, my husband was a trooper, and our children sacrificed.
Now granted, our children have always been over achievers in whatever they do, but some things was going in the school they were attending at the time that seem as though it was stunting their growth. I'm going to be very honest here and say that we were true babes in Christ at this point, and was not looking for all of our support from God. Let me tell you, Glory, BUT GOD!! I can honestly say now, the spirit of the Lord along with confirmation from our children, said homeschool. I said what is that and how am I to do it? I then researched and God had made me whole again and I had been healed from all injuries.
Well 7 years later, we have 2 children currently in college now: our son in Ohio on scholarships and taking Accounting, our daughter in Michigan on scholarships for Pre-Med and HALLELUJAH, our son accepted to UIC starting this year with scholarships!!! Let me tell you; I know we couldn't do it, but my God can, will and he did!
Thank you Jesus, Thank you. YOU ARE WORTHY OF ALL PRAISE!!
